As the year draws to a close, let the magic of the season transport you to a bygone era of cinematic splendor at Stamford’s most beloved landmark, the Avon Theatre.
Join us on Tuesday, December 19th from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM, for a holiday reception and special screening of It’s a Wonderful Life, a cinematic masterpiece that captures the essence of the holiday spirit. Immerse yourself in the timeless charm of a cherished Christmas classic and witness the heartwarming tale of George Bailey, a man on the brink of despair who rediscovers the profound impact his life has on the lives of others
Before the movie starts, enjoy an evening of delectable delights, mingling, and cheerful camaraderie as you embrace the nostalgic warmth of the holiday season.
The reception will be held from 6:00-7:30 PM with a Movie start time of 7:30 PM
In the spirit of giving, we will be holding a fundraising raffle and food drive for the New Covenant Center, a local organization that provides hunger prevention and social services to our community members. Each canned food item you bring will count as one raffle ticket. Additional raffle tickets can be purchased for $5 or 5 for $20. Prizes include an annual couples membership package to Avon Theatre ($140 Value), a private 2-hour golf experience for 4 guests at Rock Pile Golf Club ($500 value), and more!
Admission to this event includes one movie ticket to It’s a Wonderful Life, light bites and beverages, and one raffle ticket.
